Teach Tab Place Value is suitable for both Key Stage One and Key Stage Two children It all starts with grasping Tens and Units and then moves children onto Hundreds and Thousands. This PLACE VALUE APP teaches the difficult concept of Place Value in maths from the very beginning through to more complex numbers. TEACHER SECTION: The teacher is able to use the APP as a teaching/demonstration tool as part of their whole class or group work. The teacher can demonstrate the concept of place value and then set questions at different levels to assess understanding. The Show/Hide function is great for quick fire whole class questions The colours are designed to enable effective viewing on an interactive screen. PUPIL: The pupil section allows the children to experiment with numbers and their values. Starting with Tens and Units and moving on as and when they are ready. The can use a number spiner to generate questions to answer or they can show their understanding on the standard place value grid.
